WJE was established in 1956 on the principle that delivering better solutions requires a better understanding of the problem. That’s why we take a hands-on, empirical, and investigative approach to every assignment. Materials, technologies, and structures continue to change, but our basic philosophy hasn’t. Founder Jack Janney’s advice to “ask the structure” continues to guide our project work today.
