This webinar, presented by Rich Kristie (Northbrook) and Jaret Lynch (New Haven), is intended for individuals with a basic knowledge of wood structures. Rich and Jaret explain how heavy timber members and connections differ from dimension lumber. Other topics include cumulative damage, wood-decay fungi, insect attack, and preservative treatments. They also share case studies of previous WJE projects involving assessment and repair of historic timber framing and timber roof trusses.
