Marine Load Rating
WJE performs load rating analyses where needed to establish the safe loading criteria for a given wharf or marine asset. Our structural engineers combine their expertise in condition evaluation, nondestructive testing, and materials properties with the estimated demand on structural elements based on intended use and loading types. This knowledge allows our engineers to prescribe a safe loading for the asset. Should this rating not meet the requirements and expectations of the client, we will develop repair and/or strengthening recommendations.
