Washington, D.C. Staff Craft the "Washington Nom-ument"
Washington, D.C. staff participated in CANstruction, an annual design and build competition benefiting the Capital Area Food Bank through donations of canned goods.
A team of about twenty staff members (and friends) contributed more than 2,700 cans of food to build the creation, the “Washington Nom-ument”—complete with a WJE Difficult Access Team member represented in the display. The entry earned an Honorable Mention for “Best Viewed Through a Camera Lens.”
