Experience

Yuhan Yang joined WJE with experience in curtain wall, window wall, and storefront engineering, manufacturing, and construction. Ms. Yang possesses expertise in the inspecting and investigation of building facades, exterior wall systems, fenestration systems, and enclosure assemblies, often leading to the development of repair designs which she oversees. Her knowledge of facade, window, curtain wall, and overall enclosure performance has provided her with significant proficiency in new enclosure consulting projects. Her work spans curtain wall systems, aluminum window systems, building facade cladding systems, and enclosure assemblies, and building types including high-rise residential and office buildings, institutions, health care, and historic structures.

Before WJE, Ms. Yang worked for glazing firms specializing in high-rise projects, where she was involved in the preconstruction design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of glazing systems. She has experience in facade systems, including design detailing, performance testing, and installation management. Ms. Yang has managed projects through all phases, from initial design and engineering coordination to fabrication and field installation. She has provided construction consulting services and recommendations on enclosure detailing and installation best practices. Ms. Yang has reviewed design documents for new construction to ensure compliance with industry standards, performance criteria, and project-specific requirements.
