Shane Matsunaga

Experience

Shane Matsunaga has broad-based experience in water intrusion investigation, window condition assessment, materials testing, waterproofing design, roofing design, and concrete repair. He has participated in the investigation, design development, and construction period phases of numerous building repair projects.

Before joining WJE in 2022, Mr. Matsunaga worked with an architectural design firm as a project coordinator, specializing in hospitality capital projects, residential design, and construction documentation.

Mr. Matsunaga has worked with architects, condominium associations, contractors, institutional facility managers, and commercial property managers on various projects. He also has expertise collaborating with government agencies such as the Hawaii Department of Education, the University of Hawaii, and the Hawaii Department of Accounting and General Services.
