Michael J. Kotheimer

Experience

Michael Kotheimer specializes in the design, construction, and evaluation of a wide range of building enclosure systems, components, and materials. These include windows, stick-built and unitized curtain walls, and skylights; metal panels, terra cotta, masonry, and other types of rain screen cladding assemblies; architectural precast and mass masonry wall assemblies; EIFS; stucco; air barriers; and roofing and waterproofing. Since joining WJE in 2004, Mr. Kotheimer has gained extensive experience on a broad range of projects, including building enclosure assessments, design peer reviews, field testing, building enclosure commissioning, and failure investigations of new and existing structures.
