Marlene Melendez

Associate I

Experience

Marlene Melendez contributes to projects involving building and fire code analysis, life safety analysis, and egress design. Ms. Melendez was previously an intern designer for a sprinkler contractor in Texas. Her projects included the design of automatic sprinkler systems in residential and commercial occupancies, and the installation and final inspection of fire sprinkler systems. As an undergraduate, she also collaborated with Sandia National Labs with code review and alternative solutions to conflicting codes.
