Joseph A. Standley

Senior Associate

Experience

Joseph Standley has experience in architectural and structural investigations, having completed projects ranging from facade inspections to structural load tests and material testing. He regularly provides building enclosure consulting and peer review services for new construction projects.

Much of Mr. Standley’s work has been focused on exterior wall assemblies, and most notably, air barriers and curtain wall systems. He has coordinated whole-building air leakage tests for several large new construction projects and has participated in the design, laboratory testing, and troubleshooting of curtain walls.

Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Standley researched the design and structural capacity of a new type of load-bearing panelized wall system. His research involved dynamic racking tests in accordance with CUREE/ASTM E-2126 and compression load testing in accordance with ASTM E72.
