Coy Lawson

Experience

Since joining WJE in 2023, Coy Lawson has been involved in numerous structural investigations, condition assessments, analyses, and repair design projects throughout the Carolinas and southeastern United States. His work includes the evaluation and rehabilitation of concrete, masonry, steel, and light gauge metal structures for buildings, parking garages, and civil infrastructure. He routinely performs nondestructive evaluations using geophysical and ultrasonic methods, conducts aerial condition assessments of roofs and facades, and provides construction period services and performance verification testing during repair implementation. Prior to joining WJE, Mr. Lawson served in the United States Air Force, where he developed strong project management skills and problem-solving skills that continue to guide his engineering approach and client service.
